Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Tasmania where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Hobart
to Smithton and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
Tasmania law recognizes that adopted persons have the right to know their origins and identity,
and therefore provides for adult adopted persons to have access to their original birth record and
other records associated with the adoption. All Tasmanian residents seeking information are
required to attend an interview with a counsellor before receiving information of any kind.
