304. Tonypettitt : “Trevor Scott Pettitt” celebrates his 65th birthday on 30/11/2023
I’ve been trying to trace my younger brother “Trevor Scott” who was adopted soon after his birth on 30th November 1958‚ 65 years ago. My Mother died during his birth and consequently my Father‚ who was extremely distressed by my Mum’s sudden and tragic death‚ made the decision at that time.
My Father always wanted Trevor to know that he was born into a loving family and that if the circumstances had been different he would never have been adopted.
After my Father died in 1986 I have continued to try to contact Trevor. I have tried almost all the systematic approaches that there are: registration on adoption records and societies‚ adverts in local papers (South Herts) and Facebook group requests‚ searches of court and baptism records ( St Albans Cathedral). And finally searching for DNA matches on ancestry and GENmatch.
No success.
