I was adopted in 1962 in Hertfordshire and lived in Hitchen. I was born in Bedford and I think I was adopted via Banardos.
I have had truly wonderful parents. My Mother ( adopted yes but my Mum) was exceptional and I have always known I was adopted and chosen and really loved. Sadly she passed away a few years ago. Daddy is still alive and thriving. So I am not looking for replacements. I am however really curious to see if my birth mother is still alive and if I have any siblings.

250. Jimmyc84 : I’ve recently discovered that I have a half brother who was born Nicholas G****e A***y in April 1982 in Hertfordshire‚ registered in the Dacorum area. Nicholas was put up for adoption in late 1985/ 1986 when I was less than two years old and he has another brother who is 4 years younger than me.
I found this out after my own father passed away 2 years ago. I’m not sure if Nicholas is aware of the circumstances for his adoption or that he has siblings that would like to be in contact with him‚ but you’re never far from our thoughts.

His birth name was John Hanger but his adopted parents changed it to Rodney Done. He was told that many documents were destroyed in the war and bombings in Portsmouth so it has been a struggle to find any information on his birth parents. It is his dream to be able to find out where he came from.
