158. KarebIrisG : Looking for my dad’s adopted sister. Mother was Amy Violet Robbins or Clements at the time of birth. This has only just been discovered as it was a servers for all my fathers mothers life. My dad thought he was an only child until last week. He is now 71 year short old and desperate to find out about his sister and get in contact with her in she is willing. We are not 100% sure what year she was born but have narrowed it down to somewhere between 1954-1958. She was adopted in England somewhere and my dad was born Gloucestershire/Cheltenham. The father is unknown to us and granny was noarriedat the time. Granny had sisters named, Rose, Daisy, Ivy and another I ccanit think of currently but they were all named after flowers. My father came to Australia to live when he was late 20’s and his mum joined him shortly afterwards. If any of this rings home to you please contact me. We are desperate to find family and put the pieces back together. This would have been terribly upsetting for my granny as she was a devoted mum and did hard times so the reasons for adopting a daughter would have been for a very good reason.

My name is Melissa and I am trying to find my brother who was adopted.
We share the same father who is Brian Couse and my brothers mother was called S Wilson.
Both parents were from the Cleveland area at the time.
I believe my brother was born 1974-1979 possibly September time and possibly named Steven/Stephen although the name Daniel has also been mentioned this is not 100%. I do believe some of the information that was shared may be false so my brother couldn’t be found. If you think this could be you‚ please‚ please get in touch I would love to get to know you and finally meet my older brother.

Sadly‚ life circumstances lead to your adoption. I pray that we get to meet one day. This would be one wish she would have wanted. We lived in Hitchin‚ Hertfordshire.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
