211. LadyMcKay : Saint John Reginal Hospital‚ my childs name was Serenity Marie Joan Callahan-smith at birth. I don’t know if her name has been changed since her adoption. I’m her biological mother my full name is Maja Callahan
212. MDoehler : Although born in Manitoba, my birth father’s family may not know that. Birth mother was from New Brunswick and birth father from British Columbia. I was given the name Andrea Hope at birth.
213. Celebrate21 : I know that my mother named her Tammy. Not sure of her last name, probably Thorne or Miller. My parents were divorcing and I was just a baby. My Mother had always claimed that my father was her Dad, but during the divorce proceedings, my father had a friend who testified that him and my father were together on the night in question, that my mother and father had gotten together, and Tammy was conceived. Back in those days, Mom didn’t have much support, and had no other option but to put her up for adoption. I was raised by my maternal grandparents for the most part. Mom remarried and had a second family, as did my Dad. They were a case of probably married too young, and a different time. Just would like to know that if I have a chance of having a biological sibling out there, I would like to know. My Mother has since passed, my Dad is still alive. Don’t want to ruffle any feathers with his present family, but I would like to find out, as it was my Mother’s wish to find her, but live in a small town, and my Dad and Stepmother are well respected in the community. But, if this year has taught us anything, don’t take anything for granted! Thanks. I’m guessing that her birth year was 1959, as I was born in 1957. My mother remarried and had my step sister in 1961.
