Their birth registration index record states their birth mother’s maiden name was Newman and their surname was also Newman. However‚ it may also say mother’s maiden name was ‘Norman’ as that was the case with one sibling that was found. On their birth certificate‚ their mother’s name will be ‘Annie Newman’. The birth certificate may also say‚ born at Frome Road House or it may say another address‚ but it will be a Bath address. They lived with foster parents‚ in the first years of their life and once adoption became legal in England after 1926‚ they may have been adopted.

A brother who died at/not long after birth (before Kath) and a sister born around 1965 called Angela. A DNA test shows links back to a family called Brindle at the grandparents/great-grandparents level? The DNA test so far has not given any close cousins/siblings.
