258. Lowe1952 : I am searching with permission for John Lowe who is my ex-husband. We emigrated to Melbourne Australia in 1983 and have two sons. John was born in Hull on 3/11/1952 and was adopted by Betty and Anthony Lowe not long after. The only information we were given was that his mother was very young and ? American and his father was a Yorkshire policeman. There was mention that his GF was an American diplomat but that’s all we have. His recent DNA is yet to be downloaded but no American connection just 80% UK. We are new to this but in view of John’s recent health scare he has decided to pursue his family history. Many thanks if anyone has any information to start our journey.
259. RebeccaBaker : My mother Valerie Betty Smith‚ later married and marital name Valerie Betty Harrison‚ had a child (daughter)‚ out of wed lock her parents where devote catholic and would not allow her to keep her child‚ the child was taken away two hours after birth for adoption.

268. KatieHutchinson2005x : I was born in Hull and taken away at birth. I think my dad’s name is Wayne Wilson and my mothers name could be Sarah. My date of birth is 14/01/2005 and I have a brother named Kyle who’s date of birth is 15/09/2003
269. NonnaLooli : I think the baby boy would have been born in Bridlington in either 1945 or 1946 in an hospital or a mother and baby home or even at her aunts home. The family name given was probably Hornsby. We don’t know a first name. We don’t have any information on his date of birth or his adoption date. We have reason to believe this baby boy came looking for his mother (my aunt) in Staines‚ Surrey about 20 years ago‚ give or take. She was not living there anymore but he was given the telephone number of my father who spoke to his mother. Sadly she didn’t feel she could talk to him. She has now passed away and we have information we would like to share with him about his father Albert Drew. We would love to find him‚ if he would still like to find family members.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
