268. Itstcd : I am looking for the biological family of Karen Jane Darke (adopted surname: Morris & birth surname is: Johnson). Karen was born on 06/10/1960 at The Royal Victoria Hospital (Boscombe Branch) or better known as boscombe hospital to a Rosemary Joan Johnson (maiden name possibly chilcott)‚ born 25/08/1938. Rosemary was married to Cecil Johnson at the time of the birth but they were separated‚ they had a daughter named Angela who was 2 years older than karen & born on 10/12/1958‚ Cecil is believed to not be the biological father of Karen. Karen spent 2 weeks after her birth at Aston Grays Maternity Home in Bournemouth which is believed to be located at 23 Knole Road‚ Bournemouth. According to adoption records‚ on the 18/10/1960 Karen was received into care and at some point went to live with foster carers who later became her adoptive parents. The same day that Karen went to live with her foster parents (date unknown) Rosemary left the Aston Grays Maternity Home at 11am. It is believed that Karens sisters name is Angela Mogg and in 1992 she attempted to contact the local social services to say she had a sister who she knew was adopted & a confirmed link was made but as Karen had not tried to access her records‚ the approach was recorded and they suggested she write Karen a letter but there is no record of one being received.
