188. Ruth_Barnard1986 : Looking for my daughter, at birth I think she was called Petrina Sparrow but I cannot be certain of this as I was never allowed to meet you or know any details. All I know is that you were a little girl and you were adopted. Your birth Mum was Shirley Sparrow nee Ramsbotham. You were born in Norwich 1971. My name is Nigel John Barnard, I was 20 years old when you were born. I’d love to find you!
190. Dwarfbread : I am looking for twins called Elizabeth and Richard. They were born around 1944 to my maternal grandmother Eileen Merrill/Kay and we believe adopted by a family called Holmes. They have 2 younger sisters and a younger brother who have only just discovered they exist and would dearly love to meet them.
191. KarenS1968 : I’m trying to find my cousin. A girl who was born and adopted in the UK in the sixties. Her mother was a nurse and the father was my uncle James Mulholland. She was named Cliona. We’ve always been looking for her and would love to get in touch. Karen
192. Teishdarke : Hi there! My name is Teisha Chantelle Darke & I am the daughter of Karen Darke (formally Morris). I am hoping to contact the sister of my mother, my mother was adopted a year after she was born by Edna & Trevor Morris.
Karen Darke (morris): biological mothers name is: Rosemary Joan Johnson (formally chilcott)
Biological Fathers name: George Clifford Rattue.
Known husband at the time of adoption was apparently a Cecil Johnson but records say his name may have been Stanley j Williams.
Cecil Johnson (Stanley J Williams) ordered George Clifford Rattue to pay child support and it’s believed that George attempted to make contact with the adoption agents so he could register with his job to take the payments for the child support but Cecil Johnson decided to sign the birth certificate so he had a legal standing over what would happen to Karen and shortly after, Rosemary & Cecil signed Karen over for adoption with no further contact.
Karen Darke’s sister, Angela mogg (formally chilcott) attempted to make contact with her via the adoption agents & she was told to write a letter as there was no inquiry on Karen’s behalf regarding her adoption. There was apparently no letter received or on record according to the adoption centre.
If you believe you could be a relative then please contact me asap!!!
193. Katrinahumphries : I am searching for my niece Kathryn Susan Palin. My brother is her father. Kathryn was born in St Helier’s Hospital in Carshalton, Surrey on 8/6/71. I don’t know where Kathryn was put up for adoption but soon after birth I believe. Possibly in Surrey, Bristol or Gloucestershire. Where are you Kathryn now?
195. StephenRoskilly : My mother‚ Daphne Ashworth‚ married to Eric Ford in 1948‚ apparently had a female child before marriage‚ who was given up for adoption after birth. My mother died without revealing her name‚ but I believe she might have been called Penelope‚ or Susan. There might also be another middle name called Devon.
I would love to find my sister.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
