204. Jameshughes1998 : My Father Christopher Illtyd Hughes was adopted by Mrs June Maureen Hughes and Mr Illtyd Alfred Hughes in Bristol when he was only 6 weeks old.
I am helping my family locate my fathers birth parents and look more into our Ancestry. Mr Illtyd Hughes and Mrs June Hughes were not given much information following the adoption, however, they they knew the name of the Guardian Ad Litem, her name was Ms Pirie from Bristol City Council.
My father, Christopher Hughes was born on 28th January 1970. Although we do not know much about the birth parents, we understand they were students at Bristol University.

On family history sites he is shown as Ernest J Clare, born in Clutton in 1931
He had a sister, Betty Clare, born in 1933. They may have been adopted together. We think Betty was married around 1952/53 Somewhere in the midlands.
Their birth mother was Violet Clare born in 1914, their father is unknown.
