151. LindaMcCarthy11Bar : I am looking for my niece who was born on the 26th January 1969 at Mortimer House Bristol.
My niece was named Caron Marie McCarthy father not known.
Caron was looked after by my sister for 6weeks before being given up for adoption. I think her adopted parents lived in Somerset.
I was 14 at the time and remember a beautiful little baby girl with dark hair.
I am now nearly 70 and have thought about Caron all my life.
I would love to have contact with you.
your Aunt Geraldine James (McCarthy)
153. Hafiza12345 : I think that my birth mother had written some letters for me at the beginning of my life . That’s what my mum had told me but when I try to ask my father , he does’t Know what I’m talking about or he doesent want to .
I also remember that my mom had told me that my birth mother had been raiped because she drank to much and that she was 14 years old.
155. MelissaCouse02 : Hello there‚
My name is Melissa and I am trying to find my brother who was adopted.
We share the same father who is Brian Couse and my brothers mother was called S Wilson.
Both parents were from the Cleveland area at the time.
I believe my brother was born 1974-1979 possibly September time and possibly named Steven/Stephen although the name Daniel has also been mentioned this is not 100%. I do believe some of the information that was shared may be false so my brother couldn’t be found. If you think this could be you‚ please‚ please get in touch I would love to get to know you and finally meet my older brother.
156. Hannahmay213 : My nieces name is Leah linda Kathrine Watson‚ her surname would have been changed‚ her biological mothers name is Chloe Lewis and her biological dads name is Ben Watson
157. Luke1976 : Looking for Jason born 1969 in Bristol. He is my half brother and we share the same father. Not sure if he was adopted but our father has no contact with him and won’t give me any more details. I am his half brother - Luke, born in Bristol 1976.
158. KF123 : Rita Benson, born in Clifton, Bristol, England on 11th September 1946 to Ivy Benson. She was registered as living in Bedminster, Bristol at the time of the adoption. She was a shop assistant in a confectionery shop. No named father on the birth certificate but he was possibly Canadian. Rita was adopted shortly after birth to the "Wilmott" family in Bristol UK who then changed her name. It is possible that Ivy came to Bristol from another county when she was pregnant as she gave birth in a "unmarried mothers" home in Clifton and the address in Bedminster which is on the adoption file, was generally used as a temporary lodging house for single mothers. The Wilmott fanily were possibly a family friend of Ivy Benson as it was a private adoption. No other information in the adoption records. We are looking for Ivy Benson and her family members. Thank you.
