223. _Caroline1966_ : I was born Caroline Ann Browne in 1966 in Newbury. I was adopted in 1967/68. I have recently taken a DNA test on ancestry which has revealed (I think) that my birth mothers name is Violet A Charles‚ born in Frome‚ Somerset to a Monica Browne/Charles. I have always been led to believe that I had a brother who was born before me and looked after by the maternal grandmother‚ as well as a sister who was born a year or two after me and adopted immediately after birth. I believe that my birth mother married in 1969 in Newbury to a man named Richard Andrews and therefore she became Violet Andrews. I know little else about my birth families situation‚ although I have started to create a family tree on ancestry.
