I was adopted to the most wonderful mum and dad anyone could have when I was about 18 months old although I had been with them since 3months of my birth. I was born in December 1966 in Newbury and was known then as Caroline Ann Browne. I believe a year later my birth mother had another daughter although the details are very limited. It is also understood that we have an elder brother who stayed within the family.

NorrisTracey : Hello‚ April 23rd 1970 we fostered Stuart John Couper until 6th September 1972 when is birth Mother decided it was time to have him adopted‚ at this time Stuart was placed in Fratons Children's home in Maidenhead‚ where he stayed for 18 months before being adopted. I have made contact with Stuart after 40+ years via this siteand it was fantastic.
I went on to find his mother Margaret Moriarty‚ born Paddington. Margaret was married in 1963 to Desmond Collins‚ She also had a daughter born Nov 1963 adopted in 1964/65‚ Jacqueline Anne Collins.
