446. MFrankN : My grandmother Ellen Nolan (nee Finn) lived in Doon‚ County Sligo and was about 17 when the 1901 census was taken. Her parents were Matthew and Margaret Finn (nee Murphy). She had brothers James‚ and (Matthew/ Michael???). She had a younger sister‚ Kate. She had other siblings but I do not know their names.
She married my grandfather‚ Tom Nolan in Cincinnati‚ Ohio in 1907. I am pretty certain that some of her family also lived in Cincinnati but I don’t know which of the relatives I barely knew when I was a child were related to her in what way.
I would like to know if any of the family in Cincinnati and back in Ireland has more information about the extended family. I think I might have quite a few 2nd cousins just like in my father’s sfather’s family. Most of them still live in the Republic of Ireland or in the U.K.
