I am now trying to find out who my birth father is‚ as my mother was unsure (and not entirely willing to help find him) given the circumstances of their relationship.
There are two possible (Brunette haired) individuals:
Cristie‚ (22 at the time of my birth‚ in 1995) who lived in Bazau‚ had another family with one biological son (my possible half-brother‚ who I would love to find) and I believe two step-daughters. Sadly‚ he died in 2019‚ of lung cancer.
OR Gabi‚ (possibly Gabriel‚ in his early 20s at the time of my birth) who hopefully is alive and well‚ as my mother hasn’t seen or heard from him since my birth. I would like to meet him and any siblings/relatives I may have in the world.

290. Jkb8631 : I am searching for the birth mother or father of my son. He was born in Bacau on Nov 5, 1990 and was adopted in Bucharest on Nov 28, 1990 with the help of Nicolea Manea. His birth mothers name is Dorina Irodia, his birth grandparents are Theodor and Maria Irodia.
291. Zamfir : I am the daughter of Roseta Zamfir. I was born in Caracal in 1991 but my birth was registered in Tirgovista and my adoption papers were also processed in Tirgovista. Roseta is now living in Spain with my father and my two brothers. One of my brothers in 23 and one is 14. I do not know their names or the name of my father. Roseta’s parents are Florica and Anastasia Zamfir. Roseta had a brother named Stefan. Stefan gave 4 or 5 children up for adoption, including a set of twins. Roseta had another brother named Marin born 1959. Marin’s wife is named Sabina. They gave two children up for adoption. I have found one of those children in the US. and several children in Romania that they did not give up for adoption (Floree, Lina, Gheorghe, Maria). Roseta had another brother named Ion born 1966. Ion gave up one child for adoption who was 2 or 3 years old at the time. Roseta had another brother Gheorghe born 1970, and a sister Lina born 1972. As far as I know, neither of them had any children. Are you one of the children who was given up for adoption? Have you located your parents (my aunts and uncles) and do you have any info to share? I can share the names and locations of the people I have found so far.

I was adopted out of an orphanage, so I really never saw my mother ever since birth. I was too small to even try to remember her face.
I have always been interested in trying to find my mother. I lost interest when I was in my teens but recently only got back into trying to find her. I have started to learn about Romania and the country, culture, myths and legends and folklore.
