A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Northern Ireland Who Chose To Be Featured
241. CMcMahon95 : Margaret A. Huddleston‚ born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1939‚ was the youngest of 4 children (Maude L. b1926‚ Violet C. b1932 and Agnes M. b1935) born to James Leo and Agnes Huddleston (nee King). All I know of the children is their birth years‚ and FreeBMD listings for the months.
James Leo Huddleston was sent to France with the BEF and went missing in June 1940‚ later to be presumed dead. His children were adopted and supposedly moved to Ireland from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I can only assume that the adoption took place in the early 1940s because James wasn’t registered as deceased until 1946‚ but at that time his military pension went solely to his wife as there were no children listed.
242. Niclrogers : Might have been born in or around Lisburn‚ Hillsborough‚ or Moira. Would be looking for a parent unaware he has a sister. Mother emigrated to the US and had another child. Very likely grew up in either Lisburn or Hillsborough or nearby.
245. ChristinaCarson77 : Looking for my son David Noel Carson born in Belfast 23.07.2002. I’m American and reside in Colorado. Last time I saw him he lived on Mt. Vernon off of Shore Rd. His father is also called David and his grandparents are Kate and Marty Carson. I send cards and stuff to my old address in hopes he gets them‚ but I never hear anything back. I wish you all the best in your searches for your loved ones xx.
246. Mcgizzy : I’m looking for information relating to my maternal grandfather who went by Robert Michael Fairclough born between 1900-1904‚ he had 2 days of birth 10th of June and 18th November with varying years as he lied to get into the army early. On his marriage certificate his father’s name was listed as James Fairclough.
We have no information other than his marriage and death certificate along with some army information.
He also told my mother he was born in County Mayo and was sent to Lancashire to an orphanage but there’s absolutely no record of him ever being born so‚ it’s possible his name was not Fairclough at birth.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
