My Mother refused to give me the name of my father‚ or introduce me to his or her family. i was told (2019) of a sibling (brother) who was also placed in Nazareth Home‚ unsure whether younger or older than me. in 2023 a half sister sought us out. we are now communicating. in 1967 i was adopted by my mother’s husband‚ Victor Henstone‚ and have remained in England ever since. As a child I was fostered by Mr & Mrs McCartan‚ Belfast for several years‚ but was taken from them to England.

All we know about Mary is that she was from Newtownards, Co Down, Northern Ireland & she apparently had vivid red hair. Dorothy was adopted by Jessie & James Peden, later married Eric Stables, moved to England, they had 5 children, 9 grandchildren & she passed away in 1991
