A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Wyoming Who Chose To Be Featured
331. Jpisle : The gal I am looking for would have some ethnicity of Native American decent. I am not sure what tribe, I just know the father is part Native American. I know she was adopted the day she was born.
332. Alexya : I am not looking to ask why I was given up for adoption. I’m only looking to seek medical history for myself and my own daughter. I was adopted at birth by a great couple who are still together and have two other children. I have a wonderful family and was very loved.
334. MarkRBrown63 : I have just learned of the birth and subsequent adoption of a younger brother. He was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on January 4th, 1965. I was only made aware of this after my dad’s passing. No living relative of mine has any information or knowledge of this. My name is Mark Brown and we have an older sister named Teri. Our mother’s name is Shirley. If you are out there and wonder about your story, please reach out to us. We would love to be reunited with our little brother.
335. U263934 : My father was born Sept. 28, 1950 in Austin, TX. He was white and his parents were white. There was the name of Albert Alsenz listed as his father but I think that might not be true. I am almost positive the mother was Alice Marie Lane Alsenz. Albert was born in 1911 in Brooklyn, NY and Alice in 1927 in Shandaken, NY. Both parents stated they had other children from other relationships either already adopted out or in foster care waiting for papers to be signed so they can be adopted. The only indication of where these children are is the mother said she had a child in foster care ’up east’ with the parents wanting to adopt the child which may have been a boy. The Alsenz’s lived in Austin, TX in 1950-1952 and in Kansas in 1956. The Kansas census has a Donald and a Jack Alsenz listed as being with them. I don’t think these were Alice’s children. I think they were the children of Albert and a Ruth Kniffen Alsenz Hartman Olsen now buried in New Orleans, and they were visiting with Albert and Alice, with Ruth being the person in charge of them. Let me know of any info, please, by sending a message.

Your mom was incarcerated at Highland at the time of your birth‚ so you went straight into the system. I (First born (sister) was only 3 when you came into this world and your older brother was 2. We had already been adopted when you went into the system. Your family had contacted ours after the adoption‚ but things never happened. They wanted you to meet us so bad and I want to meet you so bad. My original Name was Cherie Faye Stewart‚ but it changed since I was adopted. I sure hope you come on the site and find this. There’s 4 of you guys in the system and all together she had 7 children. Our great grandmothers name is Faith‚ she passed away in 2021. Me (Cherie 22) 1999‚ Dean (21) 2000‚ Rocky (20) born October 10‚ 2001 Samantha November 23rd 2002/2003‚ James Junior 2004‚ Josephine April 28th 2010‚ Diamond 2019. I’m looking for Rocky‚ Samantha‚ & James Junior. I’m they’re oldest sibling. I’d desperately love to see them‚ they’re the only family I have left since my adoptive father passed this last year.
339. DanBrownell : Harley Edward Weliever was born in Riverton‚ Wyoming and was adopted shortly after birth by Henry S and Mildred Weliever. On Feb 12‚ 1952. Mildred’s maiden name is Davis. He has no idea who his birth parents were and would like to find out. I am trying to help him find out. Thanks for any info you may be able to provide.
340. Mishtified : Looking for a male who was put up for adoption by person named Sharon Rae Orton (her married name was Bowen‚ but I don’t know if she kept that name after her divorce)
Sharon was born Aug. 11th 1954 and died July 2‚ 1983.
341. JoeCorona : I was an ex-boyfriend by the time my girlfriend found out she was pregnant‚ we had a falling out and she gave up our baby‚ only thing she would tell me is that it was a girl. I don’t know if she was adopted in Wyoming or Colorado as we lived and went to school in Laramie‚ Wyoming but mom now lives in Estes Park‚ Colorado.
342. DestineyRoseMartinez : Looking for a sibling who is searching for me. I am Destiney Rose Martinez Fisher who was born in Iowa City Iowa. My mom is Rachel Fisher and dad is Gonzalo Martinez.
343. Lalaswitz : Nevaeh was born in the car on the way down to the hospital in Utah. she was removed from my father’s care and her mothers due to drug abuse issues.
My father got to see her during the DFS investigation‚ and so did my little sister. I only got to see photographs. this was in Rock Springs Wyoming. I’m not sure exactly what happened. But he stopped going. I don’t know or thing her biological mother ever went to see her.
344. Angelaxr7 : My brother was born on 7/2/1976 and was taken from my mom on 7/3/1976 as part of a black-market adoption ring common during that era in San Francisco‚ CA. The baby was taken from my 14 year old mom as she was a runaway at the time. She was released from the University of California San Francisco Hospital (San Francisco County). My mom was initially allowed to see the baby (left unattended in a portable crib by her hospital bed). The next morning‚ a hospital employee informed her that her baby had died. They would not allow her to see her baby again‚ and when she asked about the burial‚ the nurse told her it was against the rules and that her child would instead be buried in mass grave. They had her sign some form resembling a "contract" that she didn’t understand. A few years ago‚ I happened to cross paths with a retired RN who happened to work in the SF area during those years with her husband who was a physician. She was quite familiar with‚ and apologetic for‚ the unfortunate practice of black-market adoptions at those hospitals‚ during that era. She was a wealth of information and informed me that we are possibly looking for a child with a birth certificate filed within a few days of 7/2/76 with the generic name "Baby Boy" on the birth certificate. The retired RN I spoke with mentioned that the hospital staff would not have filed a false death certificate for these types of situations due to the legal implications of filing a false death record.
On May 27‚ 2022 - We confirmed with the vital records office in San Francisco that there is a certificate of live birth but no death record exists for my brother which confirms he did not die in the hospital on July 3‚ 1976 and that the hospital indeed lied.
345. JanetAnnAdams : Looking for my half brother. Born as James Adams I believe.
I hear he was adopted and possibly moved out to the
mid west from the east coast.
My fathers Name is Roger Adams. I do not know my
half brothers mothers name
