170. JulieP64 : I am looking for my birth father. My birth name is Julie Pawley. I was born in Taunton, Somerset at Musgrove Hospital, transferred to Wellington Cottage Hospital, before being placed as a tiny baby with my adoptive parents, whose surname is Taylor. I’ve discovered that I was placed for adoption in the same town as my birth mother was born (and still lived at the time of my adoption!). This would have been highly unusual and suggests a possible family link, therefore possibly my adoptive parents are connected in some way? Hoping there may be information on this site which will shed some light on my situation and praying it will lead me to my birth father 🙏

My mum eventually met a soldier called Bob Diprose and they eventually married and I was adopted in Frome Family court in 1971 ( I think). I am just desperate to find out any information about my biological father and that side of my family. I hope and I pray that I can find answers to my heritage.
