325. LouiseMenzies : I am trying to help my mum find her half sister‚ Margaret Leslie Vear. We found out after Nanna passed away that she had a child during the war. The child was born in October‚ November or December 1945 in Louth‚ Lincolnshire. Her mum (my nan) was Muriel Mary Vear.
As an unmarried lady (during that time period) the child was forced to be placed for adoption. Nanna met Grandad a few months later and were married in 1946‚ she told him about Margaret and they went back‚ Grandad wanted to bring the child up as his own with Nanna. Sadly she had already been adopted.
