I was born in September of 1982
38. Enigma18 : I was adopted from St Michaels home in Bangalore. However‚ I could have been brought there from Mysore where I was most likely born. I would love to meet my mom and dad if they are comfortable with meeting me.
39. Ranjana : My adopted name is Ranjana. I was born on July 24 2000 in Banglore India. After my birth I was place at Vathsalya charitble trust in Kalyan Nagar. I am 19 and I have found some info but I want to know more about my birth mom and family.
41. Namgol : The adoption agency I am from is from a small place in Bangalore called Ashraya. It’s an NGO. I don’t have any contact whatsoever with my birth parents bit I think it would be quite delightful to see how they’ve been all these years.
42. Enigma18 : I was adopted from St Michaels home in Bangalore around 1975. I do not know where I was before that. I would love to know who my birth parents are.
44. Soniamw : The minor Sundari is now known as Sonia is said to be born on 31.10.1988 to a widow. The minor was born to the woman after the death of her husband. Due to social reasons, the woman was not in a position to look after and bring up the minor.
Therefore, the said woman out of her own free will
hand handed over the minor to Roshni, 43 B.D.A, Layout, Kodahalli, Bangalore, and left without giving any
of her whereabouts. At the time of handing
over the child, she expressed her inability to look after the child and to bring up the same. She requested the Institution to look after and bring up the minor or place her in adoption in India or
abroad with a suitable couple, who are willing and capable to give a good home for the child,
In these circumstances, the Institution had no
alternative, but to take over the care and custody of the minor.
This is the only information that I have as a daughter from the adoption paperwork. I will be curious to find out if a mother who did relinquish her child to this orphanage around the time 1988-1991 and would like to connect with her daughter. Please message me.
45. SherryRichGriggs : She was brought to Ashraya Children’s home in Bangalore, India. When we adopted her, we were living in Utah. The name they had for her was Leela and I believe her birth mother’s name was Lakshmi and she was 36 years old and unmarried at the time. We were told she was a vegetable seller. Our beautiful girl is now 17 years old. She is loved but I have wondered about her birth mother all of this time and I want her to know that she is well and has had a good life.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
