476. AdrienneRosen1 : Our daughter would have been thirty years old tomorrow. She passed away at 25 tragically. She had serious mental health and trauma issues.
We founded a charity in Guatemala in what was supposed to be her home village. We were friends with the "birth mother" after searching our paperwork. It turns out the birth mother was not the birth mother and the lawyer had been suspended years before and investigated for baby trafficking. We have engaged lawyers and the Canadian Embassy and it has been usefull. We want justice for our daughter and we would like to find her birth mother.
477. Carolinekolb : All I know is my birth certificate name was Dulce Maria Pertillo.
I was born in Guatemala City according to my birth certificate.
I know it may be impossible to find my birthmother. But that won’t stop me from trying.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
