13. EdCormier : My girlfriend Jean Arsenault of Tignish, PEI met in Toronto Ontario. I was from Summerside PEI. We dated in Ontario until Jean got pregnant. I think the year was 1971..possible 1972. Her family requested that she go back home to PEI and have our baby. The info I received years later was that Jean had a baby girl at a home for unwed mothers possibly in Charlottetown PEI. Jean and family felt it better at the time to put our child up for adoption.
I tried speaking with Jean years later but was met with huge resistance from her boyfriend. Jean.. a very soft hearted girl may well have made attempts at finding our daughter.
To many years have gone by. I have a 32 year daughter and a 12 year old grandson. My daughter approves of my search.
