I was told her mother died during or shortly after childbirth and that her father was unable to take care of her‚ likely because of the war. I was told that she was adopted by an Aunt and that her middle name was either named after her own mother‚ or her aunt who adopted her.

I’m not certain if this is where Hannelore lived at the time of Simone’s birth or not. I do know that she had a different birth father than my birth father.

Hans Irmler and Meta (born Polari) had 4 children‚ Hans‚ Horst‚ Holm (born 1913) and Helga.
Horst had a son in 1941 named Detlef.

3) Hedwig Anna Maria Irmer (born 29 November 1870) in Oppeln‚ Poland‚ married to Bruno Richard Helle on 12 October 1891.

The father was a black man named Jesse. He was a sergeant in her barracks. It is possible this took place in Dusseldorf or Wiesbaden.
