18. Bgkiera : I have just found out that I have a brother who was adopted most probably straight after birth. I have next to no information about him apart from that he was adopted by a lady called sheila and he was named Noel Mc glin and his birth mother is Ellen Mary kennedy from Ireland listowel‚ I know that she moved to London around 1978 after he was born but he could of been born years before that.
I’m hoping that someone on here will help as the kennedy surname was very well known in kerry Ireland.
19. Bgkiera : I am looking for my adopted sibling Noel McGlin‚ the birth took place in Ireland‚ unsure if it was in Tipperary or Asdee Listowel‚ the birth mothers name was Ellen m Kennedy and the adopted mothers first name was Sheila.
Unfortunately i dont know what yea he was born roughly around 1970
20. Jacquikennett : I am searching for my dads father‚ Patrick O’Neill (Neill)‚ born 22/07/1910 in Tullakeel‚ Kilcrohane‚ Kerry‚ to Denis and Catherine O’Neill (Nee’ Sullivan).
I believe he served in the British Army Royal Artillery Regt. somewhere between 1939 and 1943‚ and was based in the Surrey area‚ possibly Mitcham‚ or Croydon‚ but certainly within a 10 mile radius of there. He was involved in heavy and /or light anti-aircraft artillery‚ or the searchlight division.
My dads mother was called Freda Olive (known as ’Olive’) and aged 19 at the time of his birth in January 1942. So Patrick and Olive would have been in some sort of relationship in 1941. I believe they would have liked to marry but a she was under the age of 21‚ her parents refused. Whether that is true or not I don’t know.
