12. TEnglish83 : Looking for my father’s half sister. We have little information. She was born to Mary Ryan (b. 1921) in a mother and baby institution in Ireland in the mid 1930s -1940s approximately.
We believe she was adopted by a Doctor and his wife and possibly moved to Scotland?
We also believe that she did contact her mother years ago and met in England. She has also tried to trace her routes in Ireland and unfortunately had the door closed in her face.
We would like to try and make contact. We only found out about her existence 2 years ago. We are based in England.
13. Eileenbotelho : My mother is Josephine McCarthy d.o.b. 3/1/30 and she gave up a baby girl for adoption in the 1950’s. I think the womans name is Anne and she tried to contact mom in 1995 in Rhode Island USA
