Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for England, where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From
Plymouth to Leeds and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find
each other on Adopted.com!
In England, those over the age of 18 have access to their original birth records. Those who were
adopted prior to November 12, 1975 are required to attend a counseling session with an
approved adoption adviser beforehand. For those who know their birth details, you can order a
copy of your original birth certificate from the General Register Office. Those who need birth
details to request their birth certificate must first fill in an application for Birth certificate
Information Before Adoption (BIBA). For adoptions outside England or Wales you need to contact
the General Register Office where you were adopted.
I have found my entire family. Unfortunately my biological mother has passed in 92‚ but I have an Uncle & Aunt‚ several cousins‚ a brother and 3 sisters!!! Won't even get into their extended families. Thanks for everything. I am starting to feel whole again!!
I found my entire birth family on here. 37 years we have been apart! Thank you for this website.
We did not know my husband even had a son until a couple years ago. We tried some of the free searches but was disappointed that the match was wrong. We decided to try this site and withing a few days we had a match. He is an awesome young man and we look so forward to getting to know him.
I had 5 possible matches. I began messaging‚ and the fourth match was
indeed my son. He has lived within 40 miles since the adoption. I recommend this site wholeheartedly. How
wonderful and how quick. And to think I almost gave up. Stick with it! We are so happy!
I have been searching off and on for a possible biological son since 2009‚ and found him recently due to a message he left on Adopted.com. He is extremely similar to me and my other son‚ and looks a lot like me! These past few days have been the best ever.
This has been the most remarkable experience! I actually found my son within 24 hours of my registering on the website!
I found my birth mother after 50 years‚ and found out she was looking for me all this time! Thank

Its hard to write this with out crying. I became a member of Adopted.com late Sunday evening and got a match. I knew immediately that it was my daughter because she looked so much like her birth mother. By Tuesday evening I was reunited with my birth daughter. It has for ever changed my life. Thank you
After 30 years of searching for my birth son and using numerous sites‚ I came to Adopted.com in February and updated my search info. In March my search was over and within a week I was holding my son in my arms. Use all your info & never give up hope! Thank you ADOPTED.COM!
I signed up for this site out of curiosity. I was logging in to do a search and found my birth mother. I HAVE A BROTHER TOO!! I've visited and have come to know them as my family!
I found my biological father within a few days of joining Adopted.com. He had been looking for me my whole life. Through him‚ I located my biological mother‚ and found out that I now have a total 4 half brothers and 1 half sister. I'm having tons of fun getting to know all of them.
I am very excited to have found my half
brother‚ John‚ on Adopted.com. A great friend
assisted me in finding him since recently
finding out about him, and our mother having recently
passed. We have since met and so grateful to
have him in all of the families life!
I was on this site for literally less than 5 minutes when I came across my birth mother's profile. After years of searching I was able to get into contact with her and my 5 siblings. I'm very excited to see where all this leads to. This site is amazing!
My birth son just found me‚ and a DNA check seals the deal; I am a bio-grandma! Amazing! Adopted.com is a game
changer. Thanks for making this reunion possible.
I found my brother I have been searching for
my whole life!
I started searching for my brother the day I knew he turned 18. After no leads from any
other website‚ Adopted.com connected me with him. We now talk and see each other every
week. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You have changed my life!
Adopted.com is a brilliant and ever-so helping website. I was on
for about 10 minutes before finding my birth mother‚ and finding out I
have 3 siblings. I have
been blessed to have the help of this website to reconnect us.
I completed the Adopted.com survey and it said that I had three matches and I got a response the next day. We realized through a rare birth defect that she is
my birth mother. More to come....
It turns out my mother lives about 10 minutes away from me!
