You were left in a Canadian Catholic Hospital/orphanage for medical reasons in between 1963/1966 the location is unclear. However‚ Montreal and Toronto is a good start. 9. Momof42020 : I am looking for my dad (Chris) and my aunt Maureen’s birth father. Both my dad and my aunt and their mom (my grandma) have passed away. They were born in the Yukon or in the Northwest territories. Sadly I have no information on their birth father (my biological grandpa) I’m just seeing if I’m able to reach out to someone who may have known them. My grandmas last name that I know of was Shaughnessy, and then became Barrowcliff after marriage to a different man.

Mother Marguerite Hicks (Canning) from Millertown‚ NFLD Sept 26‚1945.I believe she put little or no info on the Birth Certificate (she did state it was a boy but I am unsure) Father Clifford Micheal Mcquaid from Charlottetown‚ PE December 8‚1952. I do not know the date of birth but I think it was in the fall of 1973.

I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’.
I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well...

Upon discharge from hospital on June 11, 1978 was brought to the Hay River Receiving Home.
