31. Ikuzuhi : Hi am your daughter and have been looking for you
34. JCarlsontheRed : I am searching on behalf of my cousin, who was adopted in Kenya as young child by Missionaries. Her biological parents were of mixed Ancestry, a Doctor (who I believe was Middle Eastern) and a Nurse (who I believe may have been from the UK or possibly Australia).
In particular, I’m looking for any information on her mother, who would have been a nurse who either worked or vacationed in Nairobi in 1966 or 1967. It is very possible that she worked in conjunction with a religious organization or non profit, or worked with OBGYN. (I am confident that her father was a Gynecologist in England).
36. Sheilacarswell : My birth mothers name is Jean James . The doctors name is Dr PG Preston. My birth was registered in Nairobi Kenya on 21 November 1956
37. MatthewWitcomb89 : We are looking for family of David witcomb, adopted by Maurice and monica witcomb. All we know is h is birth father was potentially a soldier
38. Rebeccatilley12345 : I was adopted at Thomas Barnardo House in Kenya, but now it goes by Kenya Childrens Homes. I am Somalian, but was adopted in Kenya and was found in the police station. I was placed in the orphanage in 2002 but wasn’t adopted till 2006 because I couldn’t find my mother so it took 4 years. I am african, and I had an african name called Wanjiru and I also was named Jane. I had two names but I was adopted by an American family named Tilley.
40. Caitlindorey : My father’s name is Anthony Alexander. He was adopted from Nairobi in Kenya by British foster parents. He was born in 1952. His parents are believed to be British but this is not certain. I would like to find any family. His birth parents sirname may have been Benney or something similar.
41. AndrewBlackburn : I’m looking for any biological family left in Uganda. I think my father was a govt official and suffered gravely a the hands of Idi Amin in the 1970’s. I was orphaned and at Sanyu Babies Home then later adopted in Kenya
42. Hussein : HUSSEIN HUSSEIN HUSSEIN. I am looking for my mother and two half sisters and a half brother. My mother had me in wedlock and then gave me up for adoption in Nairobi Kenya. She was an Ismaili Muslim. My birth date is recorded as 31 August 1957,. She was around 16 years of age. My father could be either Somolian or sudanese from my features. I was adopted by asian parents from Uganda
45. Silarmysearch : Searching for relatives of my dad - Guy Roy Hoarean(u). He was born in Kenya and adopted into a family with the surname Lubin. He came to the UK in the mid 1960’s in the army and was stationed in Dorset. Would love to find more information about his early life and any family.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
