My birth mother dropped me off shortly after I was born at the Olongapo General Hospital accompanied by her body guards. She may have used a fake name, Christina or Cristina de la Cruz. My adoptive parents, Evelyn Reyes and Clyde Macabulus, also from the area adopted me shortly after my birth mother was discharged. The nurses at the hospital knew my parents was wanting to adopted so the nursed called them in right away. Evelyn prepared all the documents and registered me as her natural daughter. My family and I moved to Canada for a bit then eventually moved back to the Philippines. I currently reside in Canada.

I was born January 30, 1990 so probably by March to April of 1989 my real father is dating my real mother.

I now live in California. I have found my birth mother, who is Filipino, in 2001 in Virginia Beach, VA. She was born in the Philippines and now lives in the states. She was married to an American in the Navy at the time of my birth, but he is not my bio father. My mother’s name is Rosalina (Rosie), and she lived in Olongapo City in 1975/1976. I am looking for my birth father, who is African-American and was in the service in the Philippines in 1976. It unclear which branch of the service he was in. She stated that she meet my birth father in Angeles City in 1975 one time, and does not remember his name or any information about him. I have completed my DNA with Ancestry.com and have several close matches (2nd and 3rd cousins) whose ancestors originated from Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.
