6. Tlescott : I am looking for my Uncle. My father Michael Anthony Quinn was born at Roscrea, Tipperary on 01/04/1951 to Anne Quinn. He was then brought up by his Grandparents in Castleconnell, Limerick. His mother returned to Sean Ross Abbey in c1953 pregnant once again and this time stayed with her 2nd son at the convent for several years - we believe until his 5th or 6th year. We believe his name was Gerard Quinn who was then adopted.
I have been trying to trace Gerard for my father but cannot find any adoption records for him and his mother Anne Quinn died in the late 1980’s.
We believe through extended family, that gerard was adopted to America for Canada but have no proof of this
