1. Judithgoyen : Searching for a half-sister born somewhere in New Zealand‚ probably in 1968. The only thing I know is that she was born with Talipes but was otherwise healthy & was given up for adoption soon after birth‚ I think.
The birth mother was Suzanne Margaret Dixon‚ born in September‚ 1949. I believe she was from Wellington‚ New Zealand.
If you have any information‚ please message me.
Thank you
3. Chelle78 : Hello I am trying to find an older sister who I think may have been adopted in the late 60’s or early 70’s.
My grandmother was sent a letter from the grandmother of the adopted child explaining that a baby girl had been born and would be adopted out.
The family of the child who was adopted out lived in Christchurch, New Zealand but may have moved to the North Island due to the daughter becoming pregnant either before or after the adopted child was born? (The father of the girl who was pregnant was the Chief Postmaster in Christchurch at the time)
4. Helen50 : I am looking for children of Robert John Mead. Robert lived in Levin in the 60s and 70s. So far there are 4 boys to the woman Robert married and 3 adopted children, we are aware that there is at least 2 more children out there somewhere. The information we have is Chic-France probably born before 1965 and Roxanne-China probably born between 1969 and 1970. I have no idea how accurate this information is as it was discovered on a piece of paper after Roberts death.
5. ChrisHallSW16 : Birth Mother
Beverley Harrington
I am aware of who my Birth Father is, however by BM had a number of relationships with others, and all but onw of the children were placed up for adoption. I understand that there are likely to be 6-7 siblings
6. AnnmarieLeeks : I don’t know my brother age or this name …. Our mother was Lynnette Leeks … I think he was adopted from birth … brother has try to find her Lynnette Leeks … I would like to find my brother and not sure where to start with out this name or age ..year he was born
7. AnnmarieLeeks : My mother name is Lynnette Leeks/ Osborne …. I’m hopefully I can found my brother not sure of the year or age plus I have no name all I know that I have a brother … the family that did know are not talking about … some say the brothers could be younger or older then I was born in 1968 Wellington New Zealand…. He was adopted by family in New Zealand somewhere thank you for helping me
8. Jared81 : I am the son of my late Mother......whom after Mums passing‚ was informed about older sibling. I was told only she had a daughter. When‚ where‚ who‚ why‚.??? I do not know.
At the time of my "sisters" birth/adoption. It is my understanding‚ that Mum was very young‚ unmarried and unfortunately as this was the "norm"‚..was instructed by her parents and social worker guidance‚ to relinquish all rights as birth mother and in turn her parents were to act as signatory and command accountability for these documents‚ which i am assuming is for a "closed adoption".
All i know is that she fell pregnant around 1968 - 1978 in New Zealand. She was born in Wellington 1955. Possible relocation to Australia during and after pregnancy?
Names relevant to this case would be birth mothers parents.?? Mr Douglas Mitchell and Mrs June Mitchell. (Both have passed) And birth mother Robyn June....
11. FindingM1Cuz : My Auntie ( Marie Dywer) who passed away on 22July 2006‚ I believe she may have had a child when she was between 15-18 yrs old My mother‚ Marie sister let slip in a conversation that Marie was sent away for 9 months to Nelson or Blenheim.
When Marie returned my mother said she was never the same and developed severe mental health problems from that time.
The family were very strict Catholics and clearly never a word spoken about this time until my mother let slip one day but would not say anything further.
If there is a child I want them to know that he or she has a half brother and sister Dale and Sharon. Neither will know that there is a potential sibling
I am Tracey Kirwan your cousin. And would love to know you. Thank you
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
