My grandmother was sent a letter from the grandmother of the adopted child explaining that a baby girl had been born and would be adopted out.
The family of the child who was adopted out lived in Christchurch, New Zealand but may have moved to the North Island due to the daughter becoming pregnant either before or after the adopted child was born? (The father of the girl who was pregnant was the Chief Postmaster in Christchurch at the time)
9. Vicki22 : Born at Hawera maternity hospital.
Named Philip by
birth parents and renamed Gregory/Greg by adoptive parents.
