16. BinaTajuddin : In hospital‚ the doctor did adoption transactions‚ babies were also sent abroad.
17. Fizzahjilanee : My birth mother was probably in her early or mid twenties. Passed away while giving birth to me. I was a few hours or probably just 3 days old when my adoptive parents were called by the gynaecologist who birthed me‚ telling them about a baby they’re going to give to an orphanage if they don’t want to adopt. My adoptive mother along with her elder sister went‚ did the paper work and got me. My birth father came to claim my birth mother’s body‚ but did not take me along. I was a premature and malnourished baby when my adoptive mother came to take me. I probably have more siblings too‚ 2 or 3. My adoptive mother doesn’t remember clearly but she was quite sure I have elder siblings. The hospital I was born in shut down few years after my birth and unfortunately the gynaecologist who birthed me also passed away in 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. She was visiting the capital‚ Islamabad for a conference. My adoptive parents were in contact with her until her passing.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
