He came up to Frobisher Bay back in 1984 to build houses. I have found the houses he had built. I have called 40 construction companies in Edmonton, Ontario Newfoundland.... Apparently he was from Edmonton. I remain hopeful

My grandmas last name that I know of was Shaughnessy, and then became Barrowcliff after marriage to a different man.

Mother Marguerite Hicks (Canning) from Millertown‚ NFLD Sept 26‚1945.I believe she put little or no info on the Birth Certificate (she did state it was a boy but I am unsure) Father Clifford Micheal Mcquaid from Charlottetown‚ PE December 8‚1952. I do not know the date of birth but I think it was in the fall of 1973.
11. The_Darkness : Good day to you all 💕 I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’. I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well... I found out that I was adopted after my Mother(Wheeler) passed away in August of 2015 (Cancer)... Her best friend told me.... I was stunned to be honest...for the last 36 years of my life... It was a lie 🤷🏻♀️... My Father(Cormie) passed away several weeks ago (Alzheimer’s Disease)... So I have no leads or contacts other than the research I’ve found.... I’m not mad, or upset as to the ‘Why’... In truth I am curious about my heritage, genetic disposition (diseases/medical conditions/etc…), I just want to be prepared for when I get older and my son grows up...
