5. SerinaF : Hi
I am searching for my half sister (same mother , different father). She was born in Germany and apparently came to Australia with our mother in 1973 on the ship "Australis". I was told that she was adopted out before I was born but was not told anything else about that. I do have a little bit of info but thats about it.
9. NawnieE : Douglas J McKenzie born 1951 possibly Lakemba NSW. Father was Gordon John McKenzie born 08/05/1922 in Lakemba NSW. Mother was Evelyn Pearl McKenzie(nee Moody) born in 1931 in Balwyn Vic. He has 2 brothers, Gordon Wayne McKenzie born 23/04/1949 in Lakemba NSW and Robert Bruce McKenzie born 05/04/1952 in Lakemba NSW. Both Gordon W and Robert B were born in ’Wyoming’ a private maternity hospital owned and run by Alice May Carr, their paternal Grandmother so Douglas may have been born there as well. He was adopted out sometime after the birth of Robert. They were all living in Darwin N.T. at the time. In about 1961 Gordon J met my mother and they had 3 more children together. I would love it if Douglas J could meet his other brothers and sisters and their families,.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
