1. BronwynD : I believe the child was adopted in South Africa and then went to either the USA or UK
2. DianeM64 : My Husban is the biological father and Im also assisting the biological mother in finding their child. Her wish was that the baby boy be called Herman, who was born I Postmasburg Hospital where the baby was removed soonafter birth.
6. VanessaMcKibbin : Nicki Duff was involved in a life changing motor car accident, she has brain stem damage (3 years ago)
She is still on the road to recovery and lives in assisted living now. I am a close friend and adopted myself, I feel that perhaps looking into her biological parents and seeing if something positive is out there might just help her tremendously.
However if it is a negative reply then i wouldn’t want her know, therefore I thought I would try.
Thank you
Vanessa
9. Member321103 : i need to find my family, is not write for someone not to have family, and i am married and i still don’t no who i am so what do i teach my children.
11. Kerrigan2 : Looking for my half brother, born around 1959. My mother’s name was Elizabeth, she was very young at the time. He might have been born in Randfontein, but I’ve also heard he could have been born in/near Durban.
13. TristyyyFrandsen : I was told at 13 that my biological father left when I was 2-3 years old. So far since then, I have been in contact with someone who my mother says is my true father and he agrees, however I remain skeptical as I don’t see any resemblance. His name is Bryan Coetzee and has a wife Jo Coetzee and they have a young daughter. I seek certainty over the fact that he truly is my biological father and I’m unsure as to where they live, however my best assumption would be Cape Town, where I was born.
14. JustineJay : My grandmother worked in Johannesburg, Langlaagte, when she became pregnant several times. We heard that she traveled to the western cape while pregnant to have her children adopted. She also had a baby around 1961 - 1965. Her surname at that time was Muller / Miller.
15. BradleyW : I am trying to trace my father’s adoptive parents as he is not interested. But I would like to know who my real grandparents are/were.
My Name is Bradley Travers Wilson
Father is Clyde Philip Wilson
His adoptive father was Philip Wilson
Adoptive Mother was Eva Wilson (nee, Prentis)
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.

I have been searching off and on for a possible biological son since 2009‚ and found him recently due to a message he left on Adopted.com. He is extremely similar to me and my other son‚ and looks a lot like me! These past few days have been the best ever.
