A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Masbate Who Chose To Be Featured
1. Lisabethfloering : The name of this half sister who I am in search of was named Zenaida at birth. Our common birth mother was Manuela Cedilla Floering born the Philippines (now deceased). Our mother was possibly born in Masbate‚ Philippines. The name of her birth father is unknown‚ although I believe that he was "Spanish" filipino. Names of cities I recall my mother mentioning about in her past are Leyte‚ Masbate‚ Olongapo‚ Cebu and Manila and places Clark Air base where she met my American birth father Kenny Floering. I think I remember her saying that she and dad tried to adopt her before going to the USA to live. This was in approx. year 1962‚ but Zenaida was already adopted in a good home which I think was an American family.
2. Ramgalman : -Hi my foster parents named me Raquel Galman and facebook acc is Ram Galman, I was adopted when I was still an infant. They told me that my parents used to live in masbate and my parents is a farmers. And they give me away because they have nothing for me to eat. Masbate is really my hometown. But now I live in quezon city near Manila. I’m already 18 yrs.old and I’m turning 19 on july 30. My foster parents told me different stories like my mother is a crazy hobo etc. But I stick on the first one that my parents are farmers who have nothing. The person who gave me to my parents is Pichie Cabug mother of john cabug and cousin of my foster mother minerva meteoro ex wife of my foster dad Raymond Galman and my nanny Ate Aying who took care of me since I was a baby. Just chat me on facebook if you already found me. Ram Galman.
4. Haliadlt16 : I am looking for my Dad’s birth parents. When he was adopted, no one knew his real name, birthday, or age not even my Dad because he was so young so the doctors had to guess. He’s deaf and by the looks of it, he seems to be in either his mid 50s. We want to get in touch with his biological family because I know he definitely misses them.
6. Masbatena30 : I’m from Masbate, adopted by the family of married couple who lives in Australia. I’m 20 yrs.old, I have a circle birthmark in my back and two moles in my nose. They said that my mother has a mental illness, other says, they were farmers before.
8. Bellelarue : Trying to locate my adopted son’s birth parents, Susana Udto and Vicente Almoguera. She is from Binalbagan, Samar and was born about 1961. He is from Plaridel Ii Angeles City, Masbate, Philippines and was born about 1963. My son was adopted from the MSSD Orphanage in Angeles City in 1986. My son will be 36 next week and I would love to find one or both of his birth parents or someone in their immediate family because he would like to get medical history.
10. Lettymosley : Trying to help my mom find her son she had in 1956 with an American soldier and then lost touch with him and her family made her give her son to another family for adoption.
11. Reygiepuangco : My husband Reygie (41 years old) is looking for his half sister‚ I made him this profile to see where it takes us. His biological mother (her name was Rosita) passed away in the Philippines around the year 1993-1994. He was told that Rosita had another daughter (who is probably around the age of 37ish today) who was adopted from the Philippines (Manila) by a Canadian family‚ or possibly just taken to Canada by her biological father around 1994‚ 1995 or 1996 (or possibly earlier‚ who knows). He was told the daughter's name is Dorris Miller‚ and that her father was a Canadian white guy who may have been in the military/based in the Philippines at the time. This is all the information he really knows about her‚ so he has never been able to find her. Who knows if Dorris is actually even her name? His biological mother’s last name is Anquilan (Rosita Anquilan‚ may be misspelled). He does not know if his half sister even knows anything about their Mom‚ or that he exists‚ so she may not be looking for anyone. She may have been raised by her father (just like he was)‚ who he's been told is Canadian.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
