On 16/06 /61 she wrote a letter to St. Anne’s adoption society to Mrs. Wrenne and Father Good asking about me and said the nuns in the home in London had got her a live-in job in a hospital in London. Ann went to London in 1957 with her father and 6 other siblings after her mother’s death. She was from Kiltimagh, Co.Mayo Ireland. She was in a relationship with my dad Patrick for 2 years who was an labourer and also Irish. He Emigrated after he found out Ann was pregnant with me. Her father was Thomas Walsh and her mother was Delia Walsh (nee Browne). I am forever grateful to my mother for the hard decisions she had to make and it was the right decision for me. I was adopted by a wonderful family in Tuam Co. Galway only 45 minutes from Kiltimagh. How close to your homeplace Annie!!! I had a good life. I know I am not in my biological families memories but through DNA sites like 23&me Ancestry.com, My Heritage I have learned so much about my DNA family. I am proud of you all. I have visited my grandparent’s graves,( Your parents) to pay my respects. No one knows, but it gives me a connection to you all. Unfortunately, on these sites, on Saturday 15 June 2019 @ 3.00pm, My Heart stops as I see you are no longer with us. 12 Hours I searched frantically trying to find out more longing inside of me for this to be a mistake. The loss and loneliness I felt was so intense and I had no one to share it with. I still don’t know when, where & why you left but I have not given up my search. I see your married name may be Campbell. I hope you had a good and happy life. We shared 34 days together, I so wish I cold recall them in my mind. Having 5 daughters myself I can only imagine how your heart must have shattered on that final day. I always thought I would find you!!! Death never entered my mind. I miss you, my Mum Annie, in my heart always and forever. Anna May XXX
