1. Elizabeth1207 : I am looking for my sister who was born in Ireland in 1957.
My mothers name was Lucy Reilly. I managed to get my sisters birth certificate from Ireland and on the original birth certificate her name is Mary Brigid.
I am desperate to find my sister as I know that my mother never wanted to give her up for adoption but due to the situation in Ireland 60 years ago she had no choice but to give her up. I would be so grateful for any information that anyone has had regardless of how big or small.
2. KateBradyreilly : looking for my brother was given birth name of john my mums name on birth cert is Margaret eileen but she does by the eileen

5. McBreen : My name is Tracy Rose and I would like to find my half sibling Eileen McBreen who was born in Co. Westmeath in Ireland on 22nd January 1954, the daughter of Eileen McBreen who later went on to marry in England where I was born and grew up.
My understanding is that the adopted child was taken to the USA.
My Mother is now 84 years old & would love to know what happened to her daughter.
7. Maryfranciscadden : Birth was said to be prematurely and that the baby died! There is a death certificate but no name on birth or death certificate but the family name was Cadden from Nolagh, Sherlock. Baby was not premature and false maiden name of birth mother on birth certificate, says Boylan but it was Brady! The Boylans were neighbours. Mary Brady my Nan was 6 months pregnant when she was married , we believe baby didn’t die and was adopted to cover up the birth. Doctor at the time said babe was healthy but nan was told she had a heart defect, she never got to hold her the babe was taken away. She was named Mary Francis but no indication of this!!!
8. Hopeful1975 : Bessborough in Cork handled it.
Records show January 21st birth date but also shows a December date.
Their records show mother was from Cavan.
Name given to baby may have been Josephine
9. TEnglish83 : Looking for my father’s half sister. We have little information. She was born to Mary Ryan (b. 1921) in a mother and baby institution in Ireland in the mid 1930s -1940s approximately.
We believe she was adopted by a Doctor and his wife and possibly moved to Scotland?
We also believe that she did contact her mother years ago and met in England. She has also tried to trace her routes in Ireland and unfortunately had the door closed in her face.
We would like to try and make contact. We only found out about her existence 2 years ago. We are based in England.
10. Gary2020 : Two issues.
1. Elle Rose Dolan “HELEN” from Aughnasheelin, County Leitrim, Ireland, would have given birth to a child around the years of 1951 1952 we believe in Castlepollard, County Westmeath, Ireland. Elle Rose aka Helen was born in 1936 has two younger sisters , and now resides in England...please let me know any information you have that may help find my half sibling. Helen would only have been a teenager when she had her baby. The gender of the child is unknown. The DOB and adoption dates are unknown despite what is required to be answered on the form here.
I am also a child of Elle Rose Dolan after she married John Clarkson in England. I thought John was my father as he signed the birth certificate. DNA proves otherwise.
I am looking for my half sibling as well as my biological father. I was born 24 Jan 1964 in Small Heath, Birmingham, England.
