I was researching my great grandma’s ancestry background and found that, on her obituary, she mentioned a son named Alex Klimen which was out of blue. Because I didn’t know who he is and neither did my dad and his siblings. And also because he has a different last name, at least different from the usual ancestors’ names. I researched this Alex Klimen and it tells me that he was a pupil at the age of 14 at Norris Foundation Center in Wisconsin on the 1930 census. And he eventually moved to San Francisco area because he lived there when his ’mom,’ if she is, died in 1966. Seeing that Norris Center was a trade school for farm boys at the time and Alex didn’t include his parents’ name on the 1930 census. I wonder if you can provide something helpful or know of a resource I can reach out to instead. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
