I was born in Appleton, WI on March 28, 1970. My mom was 12 when she got pregnant and my dad was 16. My mom was 13 and dad was 17 when I was born. My dad’s family was not told about me, but some may know of me “through the grapevine,” according to the state records. The state was able to reach my mom, but she has gone back and forth on her decision to meet me. She wrote me a letter, addressed to me by name. The state did not give her my name, so I know I’ve gotten close in my searching. In her letter she states that I have three sisters and one brother and that my youngest sister wants to meet me. My brother was just told about me about 4 months ago when the state reached out to her. My mom states she doesn’t remember who my father is. I just want to contact with the family who wishes to meet me. I would like to have the opportunity to discover who my father is. The information I have was that he worked on and off as a food packer, dropped out of school after 10th grade and his family was from Michigan. My birth mother has 5 siblings at the time of my birth, brothers ages 26, 9, 6 and sisters ages 23 and 21. Her parents forced her to give me up for adoption according to the records. Any help locating any family would be greatly appreciated.
