I would like to find my half brother. Our mother’s maiden name was Rochelle Schaffer. She was from Neenah and came to Milwaukee to stay in a home for unwed mothers when she was 17 or 18 (believe she was about 18 when she had you). Her boyfriend’s first name was Bob‚ but I don’t know more than that about him. They were in love but unwed pregnant very young couples were not welcome in their community so Mom went to milwaukee. She told me once that when you were born she tried to keep you but the nuns in the home took you away anyway and she never saw you again. Her heart was broken. She gave birth to a son in November of 1964 or 1965‚ I believe it was the 17th (I saw his baby ID band from the hospital once and might still be able to find that but it will take some work)‚ but I could be off by a few days on that. You may have been adopted into a family that lives in Milwaukee’s north shore suburbs. I would love to find our brother and welcome him back into his birth family. Although our mother has passed‚ she did look in the 1980’s‚ and was unsuccessful and I think would be very happy if we found you. We are in ancestry.com‚ so if you do the DNA test we will find you!
