The adoption was handled through the Martha Washington Home for unwed Mothers run by the Salvation Army and also by the Milwaukee County social services. My name is Michele Frances Kelly and the father’s first name is Jim or James.The parents were both brown-haired and taller than average. Th child was given up for adoption at a Milwaukee court house probably a month after the birth. I was a resident of Minnesota at the time and in my third year of college. The father and I never married.
