On Jan. 2, 1992, I gave birth to a son, David Arthur Shippy, at the St. Clare Hosp.,( now known as The Monroe Clinic) in Monroe, WI. Due to unforeseen circumstances, David’s father and I were told by the state of Wi., that we were to sign over our parental rights. That is the last thing that I wanted to do. It killed me to have to do that, but at the time, I had no other choice. I had no home and no income. His father (Alfred Tim Shippy, DOB 12-13-1963) and I were separated and he didn’t care what happened to either of our sons. He only cared about himself. David has an older sister Nichole Sue (Williams) Rodriguez and James Russelle Henry Shippy. James was also adopted, but we my family and his father’s sister Patty Shippy were able to keep in touch with James. Through the years, we excluding his father have wondered how David is doing and where he is. David would be 27 years old. I know that he probably wont remember us, but we would love to get in touch with and see him. I don’t want to cause any trouble. I just want to now how he is doing and to see him again after all these years. He has a lot of family that loves and misses him.
