Looking to help my stepmother find her adopted older sister which she just recently found out about. Her sister was born in either 1970 or 1971 in Wisconsin. She believes her mother might have given her the name of Lisa or something similar to it. Her mother does not want to be in contact and has destroyed all documents pertaining to the adoption. My stepmom is looking to connect with her sister. Either to just to pass family medical history or she hopes to remain in contact with her sister if she is wiling. My stepmom took an ancestry DNA‚ but it came up with very little results. Here is what we know so far. -Born near the Ripon Wi area in either 1970 or 1971. -Birth father might not be listed on the birth certificate. -Birth mother destroyed all documents and does not want any contact. My stepmom does not know if her sister reached out prior and was turned away. -Possible given the birth name of Lisa or something similar. -Possible last names are Schendel or Timm -Was adopted out using a religious service‚ not 100% if that was Lutheran Social Services -Adopted parents flew in to adopt. Could be from out of state or a different part of the state
