I was told that I have a half sister somewhere in this world. I was born in Ashland Wisconsin and am a female. I am 53 years old. I know for certain that the mother of my half-sister was from the Washburn, Wisconsin area. I also know for certain that she went to Milwaukee Wisconsin to have her baby and give it up for adoption. I was told that it was a place for "wayward" mothers to have their baby and give it up for adoption. I was told by my mother, who I am close to, that this woman from Washburn had a baby girl and that my biological father had gotten her pregnant at the same time as my mother. My mother was married to this man for 7 years and they got divorced in June of 1963 and I was born in December of 1963. I was told that they got divorced because he made another woman pregnant at the same time as my mom was pregnant with me. This baby girl was definitely born in Milwaukee Wisconsin and given up for adoption. The biological father’s name was John Fiscus Butler, and I don’t know the name of the mother. But I think it was something "cute" like possibly something like the name Honey. I believe she would have been born sometime towards the end of 1963 or the very beginning of 1964. I have two half brothers who always called me their own and I didn’t find out that my dad wasn’t my biological father until the 5th grade. I have never had a sister but if I have a half sister in this world I would really like to meet her.
