Hello! I am the daughter of a woman who was adopted in or near Appleton, Wisconsin in 1958. Her biological mother was in a hospital, likely a mental facility of some kind, and gave up her parental rights. My mother was adopted by an awesome couple, whose last name is Lueders. I believe the adoption may have been facilitated by a church they were members of, but I’m not 100% certain of this.
