I’m helping a family friend try to locate her birth parents. Her name is Rachel, she was born on the Onidea Tribal Reservation in Brown County Wisconsin. Rachel wants to locate her birth parents so she has the option to meet them once she’s ready. Rachel became a ward off the state at birth (her birth Mom was on drugs and an alcoholic) and was in foster care until she was adopted Dec 18, 2000 by Laurie and Stan Sukowaty. Rachel isn’t even sure if that was her name at birth. Her adoptive parents did tell her that she has 4 biological siblings (one is definitely a brother, unknown sex of others). These siblings would have also been taken at birth. They’re younger than Rachel. It’s unknown if they were adopted at this point. Also unknown if they share the same biological father. This is our starting point, will update as able to.
