My great grandmother lived in Antigo Wisconsin. She had a son born Feb.15‚ 1875. She became mentally ill and could not care for the child. No one knows what happened to him. I recently came across a marriage certificate from Detroit‚ dated Sept.26th‚ 1901‚ that list the parents as Frederick and Louise Verch. These are the names of my great grandmother. The name of the person getting married is list as John F. Miller?? Could the boy been adopted or changed the last name to Miller?
